General Scope and Summary
Sage is searching for a DMPK Informatics Analyst Consultant to join our drug Research & Nonclinical Development (RNCD) group. This role will interface with fellow scientists across Research and Development to provide hands-on scientific application support. In this role, you will help fellow scientists effectively use tools and applications to enter, analyze, curate, query, and report R&D data and enable them to make data-driven decisions. You will partner with Research and Informatics colleagues to identify and implement database-backed solutions to address unmet automation and data management needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide data entry, curation, quality, and analysis support for discovery research projects using a variety of applications and computational tools.
Facilitate and communicate the needs of our RNCD scientists to the informatics group as it relates to our data management systems and tools.
Provide data analysis and visualization support to RNCD scientists to advance drug discovery projects.
Experience, Education, and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- BS/MS and 1+ years of experience in DMPK, Toxicology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Neuroscience, or another scientific-related field.
DMPK scientist with a fundamental understanding of DMPK data.
Experience with the following: Excel, Dotmatics/Vortex, IDBS EWB, and Pipeline Pilot.
Understanding of necessary data context and structure for capture in the data repository to make data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).
Experience working with ELNs, data analysis, and visualization tools and applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, and the ability to identify and raise potential issues to key stakeholders to maintain a steady pace of data curation across multiple scientific fields.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact results and timely solutions in a matrix team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to work individually as well as within a multi-disciplinary team.
Must thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
