Experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our growing team at VCA Everett Animal Hospital. We are a busy multi-doctor, AAHA accredited practice in a newly renovated building. With every opportunity, we aim to exceed each pet owner’s expectations. Our Doctors and team are committed to a high standard of veterinary care and we receive a high satisfaction ratings from our clients. The ideal candidate needs to be professional, have a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets.

Why We Need You

The Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each client's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

• Customer service functions, including: answering telephones and supporting technicians with prescriptions.

• Scheduling and confirming appointments.

• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.

• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.

• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).

• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.

Must be available to work early evenings & weekends. No Overnights or weekends are required at this time.

Customer Service/Retail Experience is helpful, but not required. Veterinary Customer Service Experience is a plus, but not required.
