Aerotek Quality Inspector in Everett, Massachusetts

Job Title: Inspector

Job Description

Perform inspections of parts according to well-defined criteria using standard visual, physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements. Ability to perform visual inspection on large lot sizes. Accurately document the results of inspections and testing. Maintain all controlled documentation files and test records in a timely manner. Perform data entry into the computer. Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of parts using visual, physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements.

  • Conduct visual inspections on large lot sizes under a microscope.

  • Document inspection and testing results accurately.

  • Maintain controlled documentation files and test records promptly.

  • Perform data entry into computer systems.

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of previous assembly/inspection experience.

  • Comfortable using and training to use a microscope for up to 6 hours a day.

  • Comfortable working with small pieces.

  • Proficient in using a computer for recording and maintaining documentation.

Work Environment

This is not a cleanroom environment and no PPE is required. The quality department consists of about 10-12 employees, with contractors having their own benches. This area is shared with the warehouse team, encouraging constant interaction.
