Tarrytown Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Staffing Coordinator in Everett, Massachusetts
Overview:
The Staffing Coordinator for Nursing Services will be responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing employees.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the master nursing schedule.
Prepare daily matrix sheets and work diligently to fill.
Communicate with Staffing Agencies as needed.
Track all attendance of staff and ensure there is coverage and make-up weekends are scheduled.
Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action.
Works with the Director of Nursing to schedule training classes.
Maintain float and mandating list.
Follow Union guidelines.
Keep within the nursing budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Must be string in Excel and Word)
High School diploma or higher
Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility.
Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
Work independently
Requirements : Must possess the following skill sets to qualify for this position!
Ability to multi-task
Strong decision-making skills
Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word, a plus
Strong communicator
Excellent organizational skills
Should have a good personality & be able to work well with others
