Job Title: Cook II

Job Description

Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.

• Ensure all food items are accurately portioned and presented attractively.

• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.

• Assist in kitchen prep work and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.

• Participate in special or catered events as required.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in cooking and kitchen prep.

• Ability to follow recipes and maintain high food quality standards.

• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in preparing food for various meal periods and special events.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fairhaven, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.06 - $22.06/hr.
