Southcoast Health Staff Accountant in Fairhaven, Massachusetts
Staff Accountant Work for One of the World?s Best Hospitals! We are searching for a Staff Accountant to, under direction of the Accounting Manager or Supervisor, perform diversified duties: Provide financial information regarding Southcoast Health Systems and its various subsidiaries. Record, classify, summarize and report business activity. May provide functional or technical guidance to subordinate staff members in the same or closely related classification where scope of responsibility is limited to occasional direction, guidance, explanation, etc. Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: Day shift; 8:00am-4:30pm Location: Southcoast Business Center - Fairhaven, MA Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required Education and/or Experience Requirements: A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with emphasis in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Three years of experience is preferred. Experience with financial/accounting software applications is required. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and seasonal Influenza. Must provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
