Citizens for Citizens Head Start Assistant Group Leader in FALL RIVER, Massachusetts
Position Overview: Direct care and supervision of children (5-13 yrs of age) Bus monitoring from school to program center Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): ? Assist with the direct care of children in group (1:1 or small group) ? Prepare craft and sport supplies for group (only if children are assisting) ? Clean work space (i.e. tables, chairs, floor, chalkboard, etc.) (only if children are participating) ? To participate in group activities, individual student assignments and field trips ? Bus monitoring duties (Robeson Site) ? All other duties assigned at the discretion of the site supervisor Requirements & Skills: 18 years of age High school diploma or GED Physical Requirements: While performing duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be required to perform minimal physical duties such as stand, walk, sit for lengthy periods and reach with hands, arms and stoop. Will be required to attend field trips during the summer and vacation months. The employee may occasionally be required to physically lift up to 25 pounds. Hours: Monday ? Friday 1:30 ? 5:30 p.m. (after school) Full-time (vacations and summer) Deadline: N/A Incentive: Incentive bonus available after 6 months dependent on job classification.
