Job Title: Lead Systems Engineer
Job Description: Lead Systems Engineer will champion UUV system integration and testing to fulfill program requirements, coordinate and work with multidisciplinary teams, develop test plans and documentation for program deliverables, communicate status to program management and team leads, and be responsible for engineering decisions and data analysis as needed.
Comprehensive system engineering knowledge of UUV system.
Oversite of test requirements and program deliverables related to UUV program.
Knowledge of shock and vibration, environmental and EMI MIL STD testing.
Develop test proceedures and coordinate with test facilities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams leads to resolve engineering problems and execute testing on schedule.
Lead and work with systems engineering for success of UUV program.
Recommend tactics and strategies that positively impact the achievement of overall functionality of programs.
Internal resource for system engineering and testing.
Support proposal efforts.
Support system cyber security compliance, integration, and testing.
Responsible for managing project scope, communication of milestones and status, and end product deliverables in relation to test requirements.
Conduct breifings to leadership, program management and customers as needed.
Communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of importance to promote excellence and improve overall system performance.
Collaborate with internal electrical, mechanical, software and project team leads when needed to communicate intelligent designs which improve overall product and application capabilities.
Adhere to budget and schedule commitments.
Successful candidates meet eligibility requirements to access US classified information
Perform other duties as assigned.
Software used: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook E-mail, Teams
Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Systems Engineering.
9+ years of experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline outlined above.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Hands on experience with electrical components, integration, testing and root cauese analysis
Knowledge of UUV payload integrations
Design, test, and integration experience
Cyber security experience
