Family Service Association - Fall River Therapeutic Mentor in Fall River, Massachusetts

*We are offering a $1,000 sign on bonus!*

Our Therapeutic Mentoring Program is currently seeking a Full Time mentor (35-40 hours per week) for our 21 Father Devalles Blvd, Fall River, MA location.  Mentors work a Monday through Friday schedule with flexible hours between 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. to meet the needs of the participating families. 

A Mentor offers structured, one-to-one, strength based supportive services that address daily living, social and communication needs.  Mentor services include supporting, coaching and training the youth in age appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, functional skill-building, problem solving and conflict resolution.

Education and Experience:

  • Candidates should be at least 21 years of age.

  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one year experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth preferred.

  • High School Diploma or GED is required. 

  • Applicants must have a good driving records, have access to a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance.  

Spanish and Portuguese speaking applicants are encouraged to apply.
