About the Role:
We are seeking a Part Time Congregate site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our meal site located in Fitchburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of nutritious meals to our clients. As the coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the site's budget, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for supervising and training volunteers to ensure that they are providing quality service to our clients. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to maintain their health and well-being.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a food service or hospitality setting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities
Experience managing a team of volunteers
Knowledge of nutrition and special dietary needs
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the meal site, including meal preparation, delivery, and clean-up
Manage the site's budget and order supplies as needed
Maintain accurate records of meal counts, volunteer hours, and other relevant data
Supervise and train volunteers to ensure that they are providing quality service to our clients
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that the needs of our clients are being met
Skills:
As the Part Time Congregate Site Manager, you will use your strong organizational and time management skills to ensure that meals are prepared and delivered on time. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be critical in supervising and training volunteers. You will also use your knowledge of nutrition and special dietary needs to ensure that our clients receive the appropriate meals. Additionally, you will work independently and as part of a team to collaborate with other staff members to meet the needs of our clients.
