Job Title: Lab Pack Technician (OSHA 40 Required)

Job Description

Perform various assigned tasks and physical labor to ensure proper off-site treatment and disposal of customers’ hazardous waste materials in accordance with environmentally responsible and cost-effective practices, policies, and procedures. The role requires the ability to oversee small projects or jobs with supervision of personnel. Experience in a lab environment is not what we are looking for. Ideal candidates will have lab pack experience and OSHA 40s to even be considered for this role.

• Prior Lab Pack Experience is required and an up to date OSHA 40 is also required to even be considered for this role.

• Handle hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste material in accordance with Lab Pack policies, procedures, practices, and all applicable regulations.

• Perform onsite services which may include waste collection, consolidation (i.e., bulking, repackaging), sampling, safety/compliance inspections, and other related activities required by the customer/contract.

• Assist other business groups internally and onsite as needed.

• Prepare shipments of packaged waste by inspecting, labeling, marking, and loading into the transport vehicle.

• Properly complete documentation including shipping papers, Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR’s), evaluations/certifications, and other required documentation in accordance with appropriate regulations and procedures.

• Pay rate $25 - $28 depending on years of experience as a lab pack technician.

• You will be required to drive your own personal vehicle each day, gas will be reimbursed.
