Principal, High School 9-12 [SY23-24] District / School Overview One of the exciting aspects of working here is our student diversity. Come join us! Job Overview: We are looking for our next High School Principal with an unwavering belief that education is a civil right and that every child can learn. They must be fair and firm in their leadership approach and all aspects of their work with a lens for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Someone who is a strong and competent educator as well as a strong leader and people manager is desired. Reporting directly to the Director of Teaching and Learning, who is a district Executive Team member, the High School Principal is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and serves as the building administrator to lead the educational program for the FRCS High School and represent the school to the community at large. Supervises and partners with the Assistant Principal, who supervises student discipline, attendance, activities, and records. Assists the principal in the daily operation of the school. The Assistant Principal also assists the Principal in the observation and evaluation of a portion of some of the building staff. It is critical that the Principal has experience supervising individuals and teams, is exceptionally skilled at leading teams and has the ability to balance autonomy with accountability when managing others.
