Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

GE Digital Holdings LLC seeks Sr. Software Engineer (multiple positions) to own medium-sized software engineering tasks; and delivers while mentoring and helping team member; Make technology choices at individual level and analyze impact; Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation practices, refactoring and testing techniques; Integrate project testing with continuous-integration process; Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions; Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project; Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases; Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse; Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining and support activities; Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 5 years of progressively responsible post-bachelor’s degree experience in related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 3 years of experience in related occupation. The position also requires 2 years of experience with C#, SOAP, REST, Javascript, react, HTML, CSS, and software design patterns, 2 years of experience with database technologies, such as SQL, Oracle or Postgress, 2 years of experience with development and maintenance of automation scripts for UI/API in web and mobile, 2 years of experience with GIT, Jenkins, TFS, JIRA, Rally, and Salesforce, 2 years of experience with Asset Performance Management (APM) modules, such as Health and Operator Rounds, 1 year of experience with mobile applications for Android, IOS and UWP using Xamarin in C#. 100% Remote position. Telecommuting permitted.
