Job Summary: You will bring your experience to demonstrate and provide application support for Pharmaceutical customers! This scientist role will work closely with internal partners (sales, service, and product teams) to support pre-sale visits and presentations with customers. In this role, you will also conduct product demonstrations, method development and troubleshooting, as well as customer training and technical support. The job function includes up to 50% of travel in North America and requires the candidate to live near demo lab in either Framingham, Denver or San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

• Provide applications training in customer laboratories on SCIEX hardware and software platforms.

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations that show SCIEX LCMS product features.

• Analyze samples submitted by prospective customers and present results.

• Perform application development at advancing use of LCMS in the Pharma markets.

• Identify major opportunities for the applications of SCIEX technology.

• Provide online/telephone customer technical support

Qualifications:

• Minimum BS in chemistry or biology (higher degree is desired)

• 2 years or more of strong experience in analytical method development on LC-MS/MS on different platforms including triple quadrupole, QTRAP and Triple TOF.

• 2 years or more of practical experience on LC/MS applications in pharma market.

• Extensive sample preparation and strong chromatographic separation skills and experiences are essential.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for HPLC and MS are highly desirable.

• Excellent presentation, communication and customer facing skills mandatory

• The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
