International Data Group Digital Marketing Analyst in Framingham, Massachusetts

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing Analytics, this role is responsible for the day to day reporting of all client programs & digital initiatives within IDG. A critical part of this position is being in a client-facing role and measuring campaign performance in real time to help ensure delivery and optimize for maximum output.
Ideal candidates must have a background in digital analytics. Experience with BI tools, Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager are required. Prior experience in media advertising, content marketing or email marketing is preferred.
Produce reports, analyses, and visualizations using numerous data sources in IDG BI platform
Create easy-to-understand reports that present complex data tailored for both clients and executive management, as well as our internal teams for ad hoc requests
Take ownership for assigned reports and requirements gathering, and communicate effectively about said tasks and requirements
Analyze IDG owned and operated and sponsored content web sites using Google Analytics
Analyze IDG email marketing data
Assist with deploying of IDG emails (both editorial & commercial/demand generation)
Analyze advertising data – both impressions and interactions, experience with Google Ad Manager or a DMP is plus
Collaborate with multiple teams within IDG to optimize client programs
Assist with new business development initiatives around analytics & digital strategy
2 or more years working in data & analytics; ideally in tech or media industries
Knowledge of email & digital marketing
Must be analytical, hardworking, creative, curious and interested in people and ideas
A collaborative and strategic thinker who has the ability to help to make the numbers make sense to any audience
Ability to codify ideas and see “the story” or “the big picture” above the detail around research, client objectives and market dynamics
Ability to frame the key issues facing the client and develop recommended approaches
Uses clear, concise writing and presentation skills to effectively communicate a story in a compelling fashion
Desired “Bonus” Qualifications:
Demonstrable ability to write clear and concise presentations summarizing data insights, outcomes and implications in straight-forward and enlightening way for clients
A self-starter who is very detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, quickly process information, and maintain confidential information
Experience working with DOMO or Upland Adestra is a plus but not required
Excellent time management skills with a positive attitude and collaborative nature
