What you’ll be doing:
This individual will partner with both the business and technical teams to innovate and deliver new features and enhancements for the Global ecommerce platform. This position focuses on providing eCommerce and related technology expertise and thought leadership on design, architecture, and platform build out of the customer facing/on-line support business solutions.
This position leads managers, architects, and engineers and interacts with other cross functional teams like Product Management, Project Management, Release Engineering, Operations teams etc. to develop innovative solutions that meet eCommerce market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles.
Key job responsibilities include:
Lead the creation or evolution of the e-commerce architecture function/program.
Collaborates with the technical leadership in the design and development of the strategic direction and vision for ECommerce Architecture.
Champion the platform strategy in moving applications from legacy systems into open source technologies in the cloud
Build highly reliable, scalable micro services that can support many businesses/customers in a cross-channel/cross-device environment
Accountable for all activities and results of a broad functional area or multiple smaller functions
Ensures that performance standards are realistically set and attained
Provides leadership and direction and recommends strategy for area managed. Recommends course of action to VPs for approval on matters affecting the organization managed
Strong technical depth and vision for ecommerce into developing the next generation platforms for scalability/reliability
Focus on Innovation and how to enable/motivate the team in bringing in tech focus and experimenting ideas
Actively participate with VPs in establishing recommended organization structure for area managed, and developing organizational capability needed to execute strategy
Lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide EComm Architectural decision making.
Develops and maintains e-commerce architecture in alignment with the overall Technology vision, supporting the strategic needs of the business.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in technology related positions of increasing responsibility
Strong analytical, data-driven decision making and problem-solving skills, with attention to details
Ability to navigate large organizations, develop strong business partner relationships and build network
Outstanding influencing, communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated success in working within cross functional teams and effective project management and analytical/decision-making skills
Open-source technologies, public/private cloud technologies.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology OR Master’s degree in business, IT or related field
