Staples Sr Analyst II Spend Analytics - Hybrid in Framingham, Massachusetts

What you’ll be doing :

· Interface with stakeholders to gather and understand new business requirements and conduct business analysis

· Design and implement new reports, dashboards, and metrics

· Perform data extraction, cleansing, normalization, QA, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of supplier spend data

· Build data intelligence around business rules to deliver reportable and actionable information to stakeholders to improve spend and generate savings and cost avoidance

· Ad hoc investigations, troubleshooting of data issues, and ensuring solid data quality

· Generate and deliver monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports as required

· Identify classification inconsistency across classification systems (Gather feedback from stakeholders regarding data classification, quality, and needs)

· Creation and analysis of new and/or updating of existing spend analytics processes, workflows, and procedures for efficiency improvements

· Collaborate with the Sourcing Managers in gathering and analyzing the procurement savings tracker for monthly reporting

· Conduct training and user support for spend analysis and supplier data tools

Qualifications :

Position Description:

The Procurement Operations Spend Analyst is responsible for spend data collection, aggregation, normalization, classification, and analysis related to spend activities for all companies in the enterprise. The analyst will partner with the Sourcing teams and business units to acquire relevant data, analyze it, and transform it into useful information to support reporting, trending and decision making throughout the enterprise. The analyst will utilize robust technology tools and industry knowledge to create dashboards, metrics, reports, and project strategies for both Procurement and key business stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

· 4 or more years of experience in data analytics

· Proficient in MS Excel to solve complex quantitative problems and analyze large data sets (v-lookup functions, pivot tables, advanced formulas etc.)

· Tableau spend reporting a plus.

· Experience with Salesforce

· Experience with Salesforce
