This full-time position is responsible for providing administrative information between SG internal systems and external field sales, sales management, including manufacturer reps supporting the Automotive Aftermarket & DIY sales channels in US & Canada. This position will report to the NA Sales Manager, AA and the Business Manager, DIY.

Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Territory realignment in TMS system

  • Works with Sales Credit Manager – on any realignment adjustments that may affect sales credit changes

  • Semi-annual review of DIY customer master SIC/MSS codes – ensure accuracy – works with Customer Master Manager if changes/updates are required.

  • Manages MDM – New vendor set up – for any new payable customer, rep or vendor – and updates and changes

  • Creation of PO’s and getting proper approvals

  • Assist Customer Programs/Finance with obtaining proper documentation for vendor set up and customer/rep agreement renewals

  • Point person for any follow up on payment status to Field sales, Mfg reps or customers

  • Manages any special handling requests rebate – quarterly or annually

  • Key Contact for Customer Deductions – verification to program

  • Manages Constant Contact listing – Employees & Mfg Reps

  • Work with Channel Business Managers on creating metric reporting tracking C4C/CRM activities, goals & objectives for field sales teams.

  • Prepare new product templates for AA

  • Manages any Buying Group member changes/updates, and ensure SAP is accurate.

  • Manages/updates Microstrategy reports for DIY

  • Is Liaison for customer POS data set up with Field Sales/Customer and Sales Credit Manager/POS team.

  • Support for any other project/tasks or meeting coordination as assigned by Sales and/or Channel Business Managers.

Principal End Results:

  • Support US & Canada AA & DIY sales teams

  • Distributes Monthly reports, and manages any Microstrategy changes

  • Maintain SGA Personnel list – communicates updates internal and external

  • Ensure AA & DIY organizational charts and territory MAPS are updated

  • Acts as Liaison to field sales, manufacturer reps, customers, Finance teams ensuring customer needs are satisfied.

  • Manages and updates C4C/CRM Customer Contacts

Competencies Required:

  • College degree or equivalent

  • High level of independence and organizational skills

  • Flexibility and multitask oriented

  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive supporting sales teams

  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact internally and externally in a professional manner

  • Strong computer skills are essential, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MicroStrategy sales reporting

  • Experience with MS PowerPoint, MapPoint, SAP, SAP Cloud, and CRM recommended.

  • Commitment to becoming an integral part of the sales success for AA & DIY business

  • Some limited travel may be required.
