3rd Shift with Five days’ work with OT - Friday and Saturday Off
GENERAL PURPOSE
Operate pasteurizers to ensure the product is pasteurized and safe at or above production and quality standards.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate pasteurizers in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Obtain milk and cream samples for lab testing, including raw and processed products.
Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and any other equipment as needed.
Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches.
Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
Report any food safety and food quality-related issues to management immediately.
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Production or general work experience preferred.
Certification and/or License – may be required during the course of employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Able to follow directions and carry out instructions.
Able to effectively work in a team environment.
Able to write entries legibly for record-keeping.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
