Location/Division Specific Information:

Located in Franklin, Massachusetts, join our Operations team to support our Chemical Analysis Division (CAD). The CAD business provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of global end user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing and Recycling. It's instruments are deployed in the field and on the line, in challenging environments where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability and ease of use.

The impact this role has could be anything from delivering products that help a scientist discover a cure for cancer to helping a nurse care for a patient because they have the right equipment.

A Day in the Life:

  • Picks, transports, controls materials to support the production manufacturing functions, ensuring all transactions are completed timely, accurately, and procedurally to maintain system integrity.

  • Coordinates and schedules incoming and outbound shipments.

  • Performs work safely and effectively by following applicable procedures and policies outlined in SOPs. Takes action to correct any unsafe acts, systems, or procedures.

  • Packs and processes with using UPS, Federal Express, DHL. Stages and ensures quality of LTL shipments. Produces required documents for international shipments. Checks all shipments for accuracy and files government AES.

  • Verifies all deliveries match the purchase order numbers, quantities, and lot numbers against the packing slip and certificate of analysis. Ensures incoming materials are received from an approved location using the appropriate systems.

  • Receives, stores, handles and delivers raw materials, bulk components, finished product and non-production items to appropriate areas.

  • Ensure the accurate expedition of selecting and labeling product for our sales orders from the stockroom to delivery to the shipping department and reporting any delays planning department.

  • Lead daily cycle counts and leads team with interdepartmental interaction when needed acting as back up lead for training of peers.


High school diploma or equivalent required.


  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field

  • Preferred: Inventory Control experience.

  • Preferred: Powered industrial truck (order pickers), pallet jack, and dolly experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong written and interpersonal skills for effective communication with employees, internal customers, and other departments.

  • Proficient in MRP systems, Smartsheet, and Salesforce, experienced in working with computers and scanning equipment.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and interpret information and procedures.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Desire to work in a team environment, but also ability to act as a self starter.

  • Adheres to standard operating procedures (SOP) and company policies.

  • Open to receiving coaching when necessary. Does the right thing when no one's watching.

  • Ability to read and write in English.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Warehouse setting with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements including but not limited to: safety glasses protection, close toed footwear, and steel toed boots.

  • Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching).
