Job Description

Currently seeking a Test Technician for a full time temporary to permanent position in Franklin, MA.

Responsibilities of Test Technician:

Complete validation and acceptance tests on electrical control panels and point to point wiring

-Perform visual inspections

-Troubleshoot and repair issues that arise

-Work closely with panel designers and system engineers

-Write or update test procedures

-Enter test findings into system

-Connect field devices to each other

-Perform PLC program uploads and power ups

-Maintain all documentation throughout process

-Provide support to manufacturing department as needed

Requirements of Test Technician:

-Minimum Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology

-At least 2 years electrical testing in manufacturing environment experience

-Working knowledge of electrical control panels and wiring

-Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawing

-Excellent troubleshooting skills

-Possess an understanding of Lock-Outs/Tag-outs

-Superior attention to detail

-Understand basic electric theory and functions of electrical components

-Familiarity with UL508A and IPC A620 preferred

-Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly

-Great computer skills including Microsoft Office

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
