GILL Campus Services Crew Regular Full-Time Mount Hermon, MA, US Requisition ID: 1012 Salary Range: \$17.00 To \$17.50 Hourly Northfield Mount Hermon (NMH) seeks a full-time Campus Services Crewmember to provide general labor and support to school departments through the delivery and set-up of materials, events equipment, office furnishings and machinery, and other items as required for the staging of institutional events, and the support of administrative operations. The position provides general labor and support as required by other plant facilities operations including campus mail services, laundry services, the delivery of plant facilities departmental supplies, and the provision of plant facilities and custodial services when necessary. A Day in the Life: The Campus Services Crewmember starts each day by familiarizing themselves with the operations of various departmental areas, enabling them to provide comprehensive support across the campus. This individual\'s duties include delivering, setting up, and dismantling materials, equipment, and furnishings essential for school functions, events, and administrative needs. This person also facilitates the intercampus delivery and distribution of furnishings, mail, equipment, and supplies as required. Ensuring the proper service, maintenance, and storage of event-related equipment is another crucial responsibility, ensuring readiness and longevity. This individual provides assistance to outside contractors and collaborates closely with other school departments and plant facilities when needed. Supervising and mentoring work-job students within Institutional Services aligns with administrative guidelines, ensuring they meet performance standards. Regular attendance and strict adherence to school safety policies and procedures emphasize this person\'s commitment to the school\'s success. Required Skills and Qualifications: DOT license required (or the ability to obtain upon hire) Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the NMH community Ability to learn and the flexibility to perform a variety of duties as required Ability to work in adverse weather conditions The initiative and reliability to work independently or in groups Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions The occasional lifting and transporting of 70+ pounds and performing repetitive movements Driving Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience at a school or working with adolescents This is an in-office position. Schedule requires flexibility, over time, and coverage of call ins as needed. Typical schedule is Tuesday through Saturday 6 AM - 2:30 PM.
