Job Description:

Gloucester, MA (population (30,730) is known as America's oldest seaport founded in 1642. Located on Cape Ann, conveniently 30 miles northeast of Boston, the draw for those that visit and live here are the sprawling beaches and waterfront, fishing, forests, parks and canal side walking routes. Addison Gilbert Hospital is a 79-bed medical acute care facility that provides inpatient and outpatient care to residents of the Cape Ann Community.

Under general supervision of Manager, Chief Technologist (as applicable),and under the direction of a radiologist, can perform diagnostic radiology, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or vascular procedures on infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as requested by a physician.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology, US Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology. Upholds standard set down by the ARRT or ARDMS regarding diagnostic procedures and professional ethics.

Certifications/Licenses: American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT); renewed annually Massachusetts State License; renewed bi-annually Mammography (ARRT/M); renewed annually American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS); (RVT); renewed annually Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) CPR Certification, renewed bi-annually.
