Community Action of Pioneer Valley Energy Programs Scheduler in Greenfield, Massachusetts

GREENFIELD - Energy Programs Scheduler POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for scheduling Electrical Efficiency, Weatherization, Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP), Heating System, and Home Repair assessment appointments with energy program clients and technicians. Provide telephone and walk-in support for Energy Programs. Assist with reminders to scheduled clients. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. One year of experience. Bilingual (Spanish or Russian/English) preferred. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for one year of experience Additional directly related experience may be substituted for education SKILLS REQUIRED: Proficient computer skills: using a mouse, email, Microsoft office Excellent verbal (in-person and phone) and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team Must be able to acquire a basic understanding of the program certification procedures. Knowledge of or ability to learn program data system, excel and spreadsheets required. Understanding of data capture and tracking methods. Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic diversity and the needs of individuals with low incomes. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer phone calls and return voice messages. Schedule Electrical Efficiency, Weatherization, ASHP, Heating System, and Home Repair Assessment appointments for eligible clients. Create job numbers in database and job folders once client is scheduled. Maintain and update databases that track client processes to ensure accurate and complete client services. Answer general questions pertaining to the Energy Department. Maintain basic information and resources of the other Agency programs to direct and assist clients. Maintain a high level of customer service following CAPV\'s Customer Service Standards and all applicable guidelines set forth by the program. Work as a team with program staff to support, enhance, and promote communication and consistency in the delivery of services. Attend regularly scheduled supervision meetings, team meetings, mandatory agency trainings, and participate in professional development activities. Comply with agency and funders\' paperwork requirements and procedures. Maintains strictest confidentiality. Performs related work as required. AA/EOE/ADA Employment is contingent upon successful completion of Criminal Offender Record check (C.O.R.I.) prior to hire and every three years. Successful completion of a background record check for NGRID contract through Accurate Background if applicable.
