*** This is a full-time-year-round position *** The Human Resources Department at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort is looking to hire a Human Resources Assistant. This position requires good communication and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities & Duties: - Assisting in the recruiting process by posting job opportunities, reviewing and distributing applications to hiring managers, and facilitating communication with candidates, as necessary. - Responsible for processing the hiring and conducting onboarding of employees and making sure all pertinent documentation complies with labor laws. - Keeping track of the progress of applicants in the hiring process for each department. - Providing assistance to employees with questions or concerns within the hiring process or their employment in general. - Conducting orientations as necessary. - Distributing and collecting yearly employee evaluations. - Assisting in other tasks as requested by the Director of Human Resources. Qualifications: - 18 Years old of age or older. - Must be personable and outgoing. - Familiar with the ski industry and resort atmosphere. - Looking to engage in the outdoor lifestyle. - Bachelor\'s degree is preferable. Associate degree is acceptable. - Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite of apps is a MUST, especially MS Excel. - Knowledge of cloud storage and applications preferred. - Time management is key. Organizational skills are a MUST. - Good communication skills. - Approachable and must carry in a professional manner. - Office work experience is desired. JOB CODE: 4010-350
