Robert Half Office Administrator in Hanover, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking an Office Administrator with a focus on accounting for our food processing business located in Hanover, Massachusetts, United States. The role involves a variety of clerical and administrative work, with the added responsibility of assisting in accounting tasks such as handling invoices, posting checks, and managing purchase slips. This position also requires proficiency in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing clerical and administrative tasks in an efficient and organized manner

• Assisting with accounting responsibilities, including handling invoices and posting checks

• Overseeing and managing purchase slips to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting and administrative tasks

• Ensuring smooth operation of the office through effective coordination and management

• Implementing and improving office procedures to increase efficiency

• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and Outlook, for day-to-day tasks

• Managing and performing billing functions as required

• Providing exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving any issues or inquiries promptly

• Handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable as part of accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook proficiently

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Billing Functions

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Experience with QuickBooks

• Prior experience in the Food & Food Processing industry

• Proven track record as an Office Manager

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
