Job Title: Embedded Controls Engineer

Job Description

This position is for an embedded software engineer with experience in controls engineering in an embedded Linux environment.

Hard Skills

• Embedded C++

• Embedded Linux Development

• Control Algorithm Development

• Motion Controls Development

• Creating full software system architecture

• OOD & Multithreading

• Python or VBA Scripting

• IoT integration & Standard communication protocol

• Device Drivers Experience

• Custom PID Experience

• Exposure to feedback and feedforward loop

Soft Skills

• Proactive, self-motivated approach to solving problems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work closely with Hardware & SQA team members as well as small teams to complete tasks

• 2+ years of experience

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
