Metal Masker / Paint Prep Worker

PeopleReady of  Haverhill, MA is now hiring Metal Masker / Paint Prep Workers! The position entails the Masking of machined shaft components at various stages within the manufacturing process ready for blasting and/or the painting process.  Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Metal Masker / Paint Prep Worker:

• Must be able to inspect a variety of machined parts ensuring they meet the correct quality standards.   

• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.

• Must be willing to be flexible to cover a variety of jobs within the team.    

• Must be able to work within a small flexible team environment.

• Must have the ability to learn new skills and jobs quickly 

• Must have attention to detail.

• Must be willing to understand additional roles within the cell

• Health and Safety awareness.

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience of working in a manufacturing, engineering environment.

Previous masking experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

• Experience of process improvement problem solving and computer literacy would be beneficial.

• Experience paint spraying, blue print reading and measuring tools a plus though not required.

• Will need to be able to learn the required skills quickly. 

• Must be flexible and capable of multi-tasking.

• Must be self-motivated and capable of working in an environment of self-directed teams.
