A Commercial Corporate Insurance Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the insurance needs of a company. This includes renewing existing coverages, developing and implementing insurance strategies, negotiating policies terms and conditions, assessing new initiatives for potential risks, and ensuring effective communication with brokers, also executing and verifying compliance with regulations. This individual will also prepare, complete, and submit required insurance renewal administration such as applications and questionnaires to carriers; manages renewals of all insurance lines. They will work closely with brokers and leadership, develop renewal strategies, prepare renewal summaries, document quote proposals, etc. Handle all aspects of insurance claims, responsible for follow-up with Legal, claim adjusters, etc., handles all aspects of insurance claims. Handles insurance requirements and revisions in vendor contracts. Handles all insurance related day-to-day questions and inquiries including completing PDS RFPs, internal and off-site events, lease/sublease, etc.

Your Day to Day

  • Informs and educates leadership about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance needs; manages renewals of insurance policies

  • identify and work with the organization to create practices and procedures that ensures risks are managed effectively from an insurance viewpoint; and advise on all insurance matters

  • Prepares, completes, and submit applications to carriers; develop summaries, proposals and provide technical support in coordination with Producer(s); and responsible for follow-up with carriers and clients; handle all aspects of insurance claims

  • Keep informed regarding insurance industry information, new product information, regulation, and coverages to continuously improve knowledge and performance and make recommendations to leadership.

  • Collaborate and partner with Senior Leadership to assist with leading and managing the company’s Captive using a strategic approach.

We’re Looking for:

  • 5-8 years of insurance experience

  • Health Insurance/ managed care industry experience preferred, project management and/or previous leadership experience a plus

  • BA/BS Degree preferred or relevant work experience a plus

Salary Range: $96,030.00 - $117,370.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
