PATIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Job Summary
Our Patient Relationship Managers are the primary point of contact with all Patient and Caregiver Speakers and are responsible for managing all aspects of those 1:1 interactions. Patient Speakers share their personal experiences living with a disease, and as such, the Patient Relationship Manager must exhibit the skills necessary to support patients in an empathetic manner while ensuring the agreed upon criteria and guidelines for an optimal speaker are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Managing and executing day to day communications
Conducting the screening process for all candidates
Speech preparations and public speaking coaching
Ongoing training and support for all Speakers and the activities they engage in. Speakers will include both patients and caregivers
Working closely with the patient storywriter to support the development of a Speaker’s personal story living with a disease
Facilitating the legal review process to ensure compliance of all applicable guidelines
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
BA/BS or MS required, preferably in Marketing, Pharmacology, or Biology. Advanced science or business degree is a plus.
Understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
Previous patient engagement experience with a biopharmaceutical company or patient engagement vendor highly preferable
Meticulous attention to detail when comparing, contrasting, and quality checking work
Superior interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Proficient in MS365 Word, Excel (advanced), Power Point, Outlook and Teams
Proficiency with databases and reporting tools; quick study mentality and approach needed - knowledge of CVENT is preferred
Ability to make clear, concise decisions and solve complex problems
Ability to establish and maintain an excellent relationship with patients and speakers is critical to the success of this position. The PRM must possess empathy, compassion, patience, and understanding.
Strong organization, planning and communication skills required for working in a fast-paced agency environment
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Travel Requirements
