Job Posting Description
We are hiring a part-time Program Assistant for our Continuing Care (skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care) facility. Our Program Assistant facilitate activities that stimulate the physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional well-being for our residents.
The schedule for this position is Wednesday - Saturday, 11 am to 7:00pm
How you will make an impact:
Prepare various activity programs according to the schedule and guidance by the Program Manager.
Motivate and assist participants during activities/programs.
Work with other team members, management, volunteers, and families to deliver programs and activities designed to enhance the resident experience
Generate program supply lists, maintaining supply levels, and ensuring safe operation and functionality of the equipment.
Maintain proper documentation, including daily attendance sheets, quarterly progress notes, assessment forms, and service plans/care plans.
Participate in team discussions regarding resident programming, monthly calendars, activity and staff scheduling, and resident issues

Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $19 hourly
What you will need:
High school diploma or GED
An associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience leading groups of people with varying levels of physical and cognitive independence preferred.
