Description:

Position Purpose: Join our team at Mary’s Meadow, a nationally recognized nursing home that revolutionizes long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide vital clerical support to our Guide and Clinical Coordinator, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within our facility.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct administrative tasks to facilitate effective inter/intra-departmental business.

  • Serve as the central communication and information relay between various houses and staff.

  • Perform office tasks using word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and payroll systems.

  • Assist in maintaining staff schedules and provide backup coverage for the Business Office Coordinator.

  • Manage the credentialing process for healthcare practitioners and maintain organized filing systems.

  • Oversee employee files, coordinate the new hire process, and complete required HR documentation.

  • Handle inquiries, process payments, and manage petty cash.

  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.

  • Proficient in secretarial and clerical skills, including computer applications, spreadsheets, and database management.

  • Healthcare experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational ability, discretion, good judgment, and initiative.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Ministry/Facility Information: Mary’s Meadow at Providence Place features four separate houses, each accommodating 10 residents with private rooms and shared living spaces, connected to a central chapel. This setting provides a home-like atmosphere that empowers residents to be as independent and self-reliant as possible.
