Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Admissions Clerk for our educational institution based in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The individual in this role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth admissions operations with responsibilities ranging from customer service to data entry. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently processing student admissions applications

• Handling and resolving inquiries from students, staff, and the public regarding admissions

• Assisting visitors and students in person, over the phone, and via email with admissions forms and general information about the university

• Accurately maintaining prospective student information and conducting follow-ups via CRM and other systems

• Proctoring placement tests for students

• Managing the distribution and processing of the Admissions office mail

• Scheduling appointments for admissions counselors

• Providing support in English/Spanish for students missing information

• Using Microsoft Office programs and Google Workspace for administrative tasks. Requirements • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with students and university staff

• Experience or familiarity with student affairs, understanding the needs and concerns of students

• Proficiency in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Competency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Ellucian Banner or similar student information systems is desirable

• Ability to handle inbound calls, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette

• Experience in managing a multi-line phone system

• Proficiency in answering inquiries, providing clear and concise information

• Experience in scheduling appointments, ensuring an organized and efficient process

• Fluency in Spanish language is a plus, but not mandatory. TalentMatch®
