PeoplesBank Hybrid Senior Data Systame Analiyst in Holyoke, Massachusetts

Summary: As a direct report to the Data Management Officer with guidance and direction from the Data Analytics and Reporting Manager, the Senior Data Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data requirements based on business analysis of user/team requests, modeling data in support of database enhancements, developing reports of varying complexity using SQL Server Reporting Services, developing .NET Applications to support automation and integration of banking systems, and participating in data integration initiatives with minimal supervision. This role may be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match the needs and role requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned Understand database design methodologies and assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Data Models using data modeling tools (Sparx, Oxygen, Altova, etc). Develop and document ETL data flows using SSIS, PowerShell, PowerPoint, Visio, and T-SQL to support SQL Server environment. Use the Microsoft technology stack to support application and operations systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Document the source to target mappings for both data integration as well as report output that can be easily understood by reporting team members Create new and manage existing reports, dashboards, and agents in the Business Intelligence system to ensure timely and accurate data reporting for use by bank managers for decision purposes Communication with team members of potential system issues. Support off-hours upgrade and/or migration when necessary. Actively participate in data and application development peer reviews, interdepartmental requirements gathering sessions, troubleshooting, and project support Identify data inconsistencies, anomalies and scripting issues to support increasing overall system performance through code/script reviews and to develop recommendations and implement them accordingly. Ensures end user issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Complete all yearly compliance training and testing and complies with bank, Federal and State Regulations. Complies with Bank Policies and Procedures. Adheres to departmental and bank wide service standards. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Generally, requires a Bachelor?s degree, preferably, in business administration, finance, or data/information sciences plus three to five years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong DDL and DML experience with popular databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Ability to code SQL, Functions, Views, and Procedures. Microsoft Certification in Apps development and SQL Server Administration preferred Skills needed: Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and quality of output. Proficient in the areas of statistics, finance, retail and commercial banking business concepts. Passion to self-educate and keep up-to-date on the latest Analytics trends in marketing, banking and other fields. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate effectively in forums and meetings with technical and non-technical teams. Ability to provide clear and concise project documentation to various stakeholders. Strong time management skills, proficiency in prioritizing, scheduling and managing multiple project schedules and different levels of criticality Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Development and Office Suite Proficient in the areas of application development (programming), database and system/application design.
