What you’ll achieve

As an ESG Program Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing standard processes and controls (as established by the ESG Management Office) across Dell’s Transforming Lives 2030 goals and initiatives, in close partnership with the Strategic Giving, Team Member & Community Engagement, and Social Innovation teams. In this role, focused on philanthropy, you will support the application of our new and evolving ESG management practices, including but not limited to Progress Made Real goal performance management, initiative roadmaps, and progress reporting. You will collaborate with relevant teams to streamline processes, ensure consistent and quantifiable KPI’s are forecasted, measured and tracked, issues are raised, and risks are mitigated. You will also provide operational guidance, business management, and consolidated tracking of goals and initiatives owned by our Progress Made Real (PMR) Transforming Lives pillar.

You will:

  • Provide operational direction to the Transforming Lives goal leaders, leveraging a formal delivery lifecycle framework and best practices.

  • Work across the team to coordinate and track progress against Dell’s 2030 Social Impact goals specific to Transforming Lives.

  • Organize and produce material for key business management forums including OLP reviews, ESG Steering Committee, quarterly business reviews and monthly ESG interlock team forums.

  • Bring operational rigor, connecting dots and supporting processes across various internal teams that play a role in advancing progress toward our 2030 PMR goals.

  • Support the needs of ESG reporting (annual and ad-hoc) specific to performance of relevant philanthropic disclosures and 2030 goal performance.

  • Maintain expertise, benchmarking and seek insights related to performance tracking of philanthropic goals, frameworks, and disclosures.

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 4+ years with a master's degree; 4+ years’ experience in project management, organization operations or management consulting.

  • Operational and program management experience, leveraging best in class frameworks in support of offer/product delivery lifecycles.

  • Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills.

  • Material preparation in the form of executive presentations and detailed status reports.

  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage own work and the work of others with minimal supervision.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to work through complex problems.

  • Proven leadership skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, drive change, bring clarity, and influence others – sometimes dealing with ambiguous and dynamic topics.

  • Max 4 - 5 bullet points of necessary requirements to perform the role

Desirable Requirements

  • PMP certified

  • ESG, CSR, philanthropy experience

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and Smartsheet
