Town of Barnstable Audio-Visual Technician in Hyannis, Massachusetts
QUALIFICATIONS: Training in the operation of a wide range of audio-visual equipment, including digital projectors, cameras, microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and PA systems. Expertise in interfacing multimedia with a variety of technology, including laptops, computers, and other smart devices. A minimum of three years\' experience in setting up audio-visual equipment in an educational environment, K-12 preferred. Possession of a valid Class D Massachusetts Driver\'s License. REPORTS TO: Deputy Director of Facilities JOB DUTIES: Distribute and manage audio-visual equipment for Barnstable Public Schools. Serve the districts audio-visual needs across all schools and facilities. Assist staff in the use and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment. Set up audio-visual equipment for district meetings, various scholastic functions, and some sporting events. Maintain an inventory of current useful equipment and surplus equipment no longer needed or obsolete. Perform any duties or responsibilities in keeping with the scope of his/her job or other ancillary duties assigned by the Deputy Director of Facilities.
