Horticultural DNA Office Assistant in Hyannis, Massachusetts

We are seeking a dedicated & organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support & assisting with various clerical tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, & proficiency in office management tools. Responsibilities Manage incoming & outgoing communications, including phone calls & emails, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Maintain & organize office files, ensuring all documents are easily accessible & up to date. Utilize Google Suite for document creation, data entry, & calendar management to schedule meetings & appointments. Assist with clerical duties such as proofreading documents, preparing reports, & managing office supplies. Support the dental receptionist in patient scheduling & maintaining patient records when necessary. Operate phone systems efficiently to ensure clear communication within the office. Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes & improve overall efficiency. Skills Proficient in clerical tasks with a strong understanding of office management principles. Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Jobber Software, applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) is essential. Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all written communications. Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with clients & colleagues. Ability to manage calendars effectively, coordinating schedules for multiple team members. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
