Robert Half Finance Manager in Lakeville, Massachusetts

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Finance Manager in Taunton, Massachusetts. This position plays a significant role within our team, providing financial leadership, strategic insights, and operational efficiency. The Finance Manager will be involved in financial analysis, cost management, process improvement, business decision support, and will work closely with procurement buyers, co-packing managers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and manage monthly spending reports encompassing variance analyses for purchase price variance, obsolescence, and inbound freight

• Work cross-functionally to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and construct dashboards to track performance

• Collaborate with accounting, corporate FP& A, and other partners to address financial, cost, and accounting issues

• Lead the forecasting process for supply chain teams, including procurement, domestic and international co-packing

• Engage in system enhancements to streamline operations and improve reporting accuracy

• Oversee budgets and variance analyses for supply chain cost centers, ensuring alignment with financial goals

• Analyze historical spend data to inform future forecasts and improve financial assumptions

• Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, providing insights into variance drivers and their impact on future plans

• Design and implement process improvements to enhance transparency, reporting, and analytics

• Develop financial models and analysis to support cost of goods sold (COGS) and other strategic initiatives.

Requirements • Must possess knowledge and proficiency in 3M

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required

• Must have experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in Concur is necessary

• CRM skills are essential

• A strong understanding of Accounting Functions is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Must have experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is a must

• Must have knowledge of Capital Management
