Unitex Administrative Assistant in Lawrence, Massachusetts

Unitex continues to experience major growth! We recently opened our 12th plant in Lawrence, MA and will open our 13th plant, also in Lawrence, in fall 2021. Due to this growth, we are adding an Administrative Assistant to our currently open office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and distributes various sales and service reports in a timely and accurate manner

  • Processes A/P invoicing for payment and responds to A/R calls and credits

  • Sorts and distributes all inbound mail

  • Other tasks as dictated by office manager, general manager and plant manager

Schedule: 5 day work week will include a weekend day. 2 full days off per week.

Experience Required

  • Experience in all office functions including HR, Accounts Payable, data entry, processing paperwork and all other general office skills

  • Proficiency in handling customer needs over the phone and expediting requests along with problem solving

  • Some previous experience supervising in an office setting is ideal

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail ? must be able to grasp company software

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to multi-task

  • Friendly, team player with an outgoing personality

  • Fast-paced multi-tasker ? gets the job done right and on time

  • College degree highly preferred

  • Spanish / English bilingual is preferred
