OVERVIEW: The Program Manager will support the Director of Operations with the day to day management of the CDC programs and staff. This role is full-time, exempt and reports to the Director of Early Learning Programs. DUTIES: Supervise classroom staff Onboard new staff Conduct co-interviews with Director of Early Learning Programs Prepare and present in meetings on relevant topics in alignment with EEC Licensing Regulations and NAEYC Requirements along with Company and Program Standards. Work with Director of Operations, program staff, and parents to set goals and objectives to assure quality of services; Create and/or maintain systems to track and execute EEC licensing and NAEYC requirements across program Conduct classroom observations daily to ensure compliance and to help develop efficient systems for maintaining compliance; Sustain positive collaborations with school personnel and community partners to support student learning Ensure completion of all required reporting, billing, and record keeping for staff members working in program, including staff and child files; Collaborate with DCF caseworkers and therapists, as needed; Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations; Lead EEC compliance-related training for Staff members Lead staff meetings with Staff Members and schedules on-going professional development for staff; Coordinate and facilitate discussion to support special guest visitors All other duties as assigned by your supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor\'s degree or 3-5 years of relevant work experience; Must be Director II EEC Certified, with PQ certification or documentation meeting Center-Based Minimum Hiring Requirements for Director set forth from EEC Must be Director I or Director II EEC Certified; Experience working with school-aged children; Experience working with community-based programs; Experience managing other adults, both directly and indirectly; Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively; Knowledge of EEC Learning Standards and Curriculum Guidelines is a plus; Willingness to learn about children\'s growth and development; Ability to prioritize and take initiative; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; Strong information technology skills and demonstrated expertise in a variety of word processing, desktop publishing, graphics, spreadsheet, and database software. These may include but are not limited to: MS Word, Excel; Google GSuite programs; Adobe; and others. Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Must possess the qualifications required for their positions in accordance with EEC regulations. Must complete CORI, SORI and fingerprint scan in accordance with regulations set forth by the Department of Early Education and Care prior to employment; Evidence of physical examination within one year prior to employment; Evidence of immunizations against Measles, Mumps and Rubella; and Maintain current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification This is a partial job description.
