NEUCO is seeking a Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor will oversee crews, ensure safety compliance, manage resources, and build customer relationships to enhance efficiency. Their responsibilities include planning and scheduling work, supporting daily crew activities such as payroll validation and project coordination, and monitoring safety and production issues. They conduct regular training and toolbox reviews, monitor crew performance, and ensure incident reporting. Additionally, they review foreman reports for accuracy, assist with invoicing, and address any necessary change orders with customer representatives.
What You'll Do
Plan and schedule work and projects for assigned crews
Support daily crew activities including payroll validation, pre-marking, dig safe, mark out if necessary, ordering stock, pipe deliveries, asphalt cuttings or grinding and police details
Review and coordinate project details with utility, crew and city or town officials
Monitor and address safety, quality and production issues and concerns
Review O&M procedures with crews
Provide training and toolbox reviews as needed
Monitor crew’s performance and daily time sheets including providing accurate detailed incident reports on any workplace injury and/or property damage
Review foremen reports for accuracy and clarification including assisting the office staff with accurate invoicing
Address any change orders needed with customer representative
Perform other duties as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
Vocational or specialized training and 5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Must hold and maintain necessary gas industry Operator Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant construction
Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising employees
Proven track record for successfully managing a team, mentoring and training new employees
Collaborative, self-starter with industry relationships and excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess a strong sense of personal responsibility and desire to keep crews safe
Ability to persuade others to a course of action by instructing, convincing, or influencing through professional guidance using logic and example
Ability to assist with planning and scheduling activities over a year or longer, including regular review and coordination of activities required for implementation
Ability to accomplish departmental, divisional, and organizational goals when information is vague and details are absent or difficult to obtain
Ability to solve unique problems and develop methods, systems, policies or services that have a significant impact on company objectives
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Work Environment
Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Ablity to work 10-15 hours daily as required
Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% of the time
