Robert Half HR Generalist in LAWRENCE, Massachusetts

Description Robert Half is excited to be working with a rapidly growing company in Lawrence, Massachusetts. We are currently searching for a talented HR Generalist to join their team. This opportunity is a contract role with long-term growth potential. The HR Generalist would be working Monday - Friday on site at the company location.

The main job responsibilities of the HR Generalist role include:

Creating a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval, and initiating activities Collaborating with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities Evaluating employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances Exercise an “Open Door Policy” and assist employees with questions, concerns, and guidance in the full range of HR functions. Communicate and interpret new and existing policies. Maintain confidentiality of all employee, applicant, and other discretionary information. Prepare, organize, and support recruitment efforts by building and nurturing relationships with internal and external sourcing teams. Work with management and agencies to support requisition, interview, offer, onboarding, and new employee orientation processes. Provide support to the Training function as needed. Communicate employee and organizational changes and updates including new employees, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, shift changes, Job Description changes, etc. to maintain data integrity within the HCM and timekeeping systems and to keep personnel files current. Support the annual benefit open enrollment process. Assist employees with benefit questions and enrollment. Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and employee events. Prepare memos, maintain HR board and communication monitors. Order and maintain HR supplies Requirements Education/Experience: Bachelor’Microsoft degree preferred or 2-year degree with HR certification and equivalent work experience. 5+ years of working experience in Human Resources or a related field Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment regulations including: ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO and Affirmative Action.
