Psychiatrist Medical Director CBHC

Job Description:

The Medical Director - CBHC is responsible for the clinical and medical oversight as well as the quality of care across all components of the Community Behavioral Health Center within Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services (BILH BS). Oversees medical operations and clinical activities across all the components of the CBHC including the Ambulatory Clinic, Urgent Care, Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) and Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) services. This includes and is not limited to professional support to medical and clinical staff, patient care, quality assurance, clinical leadership and leadership regarding policies, laws, and regulations. This key position represents BILH BS at meetings related to the CBHC, including meetings with MassHealth, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and other stakeholders. The Medical Director drives key strategic changes, partnering with other leaders at the CBHC, including the Senior Director, nurse manager, program director, practice manager, clinical leads, and members of the senior leadership team.

Qualified candidates must have MD designation and be a Board-Certified Psychiatrist. Experience in the settings comprising the CBHC is preferred.
