Massachusetts Employer Master Production Scheduler in Lawrence, Massachusetts

DUTIES *Develops Master Production Schedule, monitor workload capacity and inventory. Optimize manufacturing line resources to ensure that output plan, deadlines and internal financial goals are met. Generates the materials drive and production plan based on: Pilot and prototype run. Returned equipment rework. New product enhancements, upgrades Business plan, coordinates with SCM team to ensure material availability for production starts. Conduct regular business and plan execution reviews related to demand and supply with internal stakeholders and production controls to ensure production output plan is met. Coordinates and synchronizes execution plan of product enhancements and new product launches with production and Product Eng. Resolves resource constraints due to competing product demands. Work with cross-functional teams to manage & maintain relevant new product/ feature enhancements milestones as it relates to production readiness and launch plan. Use data analytics to identify, prioritize, and drive root cause corrective actions. Assists in developing both short term (1 year) and long term (3-5 year) materials and manufacturing strategy. Manage the disposition of material and product driven by ECO?s. Facilitates operations meetings as required to ensure successful communication and job execution to meet planned output expectations, financial goals, and deployment targets. Leads the SIOP process meetings to review service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, supply plan to meet demand, and resource implications. Update Master Production Schedule as necessary. Operations custodian of the ERP manufacturing planning and execution modules. Monitors and advises production in developing a rough capacity weekly model to ensure execution to plan, full utilization of resources, and management of bottlenecks. Recommends resource allocations and in-source/out-source tactics. Creates policy, process, and standards. Drives/recommends process change and organizational change management. Effectively delegates work in a matrix configuration. Establishing long-term capabilities and resource planning to continue evolution of teams. Motivates and empowers individuals to excel in what they do. Builds high performing teams with people that are engaged, share a sense of ownership, and have a company first mentality *REQUIREMENTS *7+ years of Materials and production planning experience in an electromechanical products environment Demonstrated ability to make decisions based on data trending and intuition. Basic general business acumen that enables sound decision making and clear communication with Sales, Finance and Engineering. Able to interpret industry standards, technical drawings, and manufacturing procedures. Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and be at the expert level in Excel or similar software. Power user status in ERP system, preferably NetSuite. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, work package and schedule. Clear and positive verbal and written communication skills to work successfully face-to-face, on the phone, and by email. Must have a successful track record of leadership, and calmly resolving conflict in a way that promotes teamwork and positive relationships. Good organizational skills, able to establish priorities and complete a high volume of work to specific deadlines. Four-year degree in an Engineering discipline, Materials Management, Business Administration, or related discipline desired.
