Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills a must! Knowledge of third-party insurance requirements and co-pay collections required. Previous hospital or healthcare experience and computer skills a must. Duties include patient admissions, bed changes, outpatient registration, verifying patient demographic and insurance information via telephone and/or face-to-face communications as well as discussion of patient-responsible balances Time management, organizational skills, previous hospital work experience and high school diploma required. Some weekends and holidays may be required. Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred. Must possess a high level of communication skills and customer service skills.
