High Lawn Farm, LLC* Relief Delivery Truck Driver in Lee, Massachusetts

We are hiring a full-time (non-CDL) Relief Delivery Truck Driver to join our team in distributing our collection of farm-fresh, 100% Jersey dairy products to stores, restaurants, institutions, and coffee shops from the Berkshires to Boston. The best candidate for this position will be someone who is motivated, responsible and has a positive attitude. The candidate must exhibit good public relations skills, as this position represents the face of our company and works directly with our customers daily. SCHEDULE: This relief driver position will require the employee to learn each of our delivery routes. This will require intensive training within the first couple months of employment, to learn each route delivery sequence and locations. Following training the employee will rotate between routes to cover route drivers\' time off and assist in extra runs. This position requires the employee to be adaptable to covering each type of route our distribution team serves. The Eastern MA routes include a 4-day work week with an early morning start between 1:00-2:00 am. The Eastern MA routes require overnight stays at a hotel near Boston paid for by the company two nights a week. The Western MA routes include a 5-day work week with an early morning start between 3:00-4:00 am. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Compensation includes salary, plus commission. Salary is commensurate with experience and willingness to learn. Benefits include a matching 401(k) retirement plan, health insurance, Aflac, paid time off, employee discounts, and weekly milk stipends. REQUIREMENTS: Applicants are required to have a valid driver\'s license, a good driving record, and the ability to lift at least 45 lbs repeatedly. Applicants must have a flexible schedule and the ability to cover overnight runs. Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check and maintain an active DOT physical.
