You will: - Perform Set up and Break down duties according to dining room standard operating procedures. - Greet guests in a polite, positive manner, take food and beverage orders, and serve desired orders in a friendly, timely efficient manner - Check on guests periodically throughout meals, attending to their needs using the guest\'s name where appropriate. - Answer questions about the menu, understand and study Canyon Ranch nutritional philosophy and menu ingredients, as well as the Ranch\'s overall operation, activities and services. Cook{target="blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"} As a member of our culinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with the freshest, clean, organic ingredients, techniques and presentations that make us exceptional. You will be an integral contributor in the evolution of our culinary culture in Lenox. Our culinary philosophy cultivates hand crafted artisan cuisine showcasing sustainable growing, sourcing and cooking techniques. These techniques provide for great ingredients simply prepared with health in mind while striving to remain locavore in nature. All aspects of our presentations will be clean while contributing to contemporary trends. Candidates should demonstrate the ability and desire to develop within lasting teams through collaboration and engagement. Dishwasher{target="blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"} Steward (Dishwasher){target="blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"} The Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, kitchen and surrounding areas and assist other Kitchen staff in food preparation. He or she will also: - Wash all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, steam kettles and ensure they meet Canyon Ranch standards regarding cleanliness. - Clean organize and maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas including sweeping and washing the floor 3 times daily. This includes organizing, transporting and dumping the refuse in the correct dumpsters at the end of each service. At appropriate mealtime, also responsible to: - Organize, assemble and fill with product the two ice cream machines every morning to be ready for lunch then dinner. - For breakfast, lunch and dinner maintain the dishwasher, setting it up for service, changing the water as necessary, changing the detergents and rinser as necessary and breaking down and cleaning it after each service. - Ice both salad bars each morning.
