Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center Nursing Scheduler in Lenox, Massachusetts
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Nursing Home Scheduler to coordinate and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of staffing needs in a healthcare setting. Hours- 40 Hours Monday - Friday no weekends Reports to the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities - Develop, manage, and adjust daily and weekly schedules for nursing staff. - Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet resident care needs. - Communicate schedule changes and open shifts to staff. - Maintain accurate scheduling records and track time-off requests. - Work with HR and management to address staffing concerns and coverage issues. - Assist with payroll processing by verifying shift attendance and hours worked. - Respond to last-minute call-outs and find coverage as needed. Qualifications - Previous scheduling experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting preferred. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office. - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
