Job Information Acquisition Logistics Manager II in Lexington, Massachusetts

Overview is seeking a Acquisition Logistics Manager II to provide logistics and life cycle sustainment support to the AWACS program office, which is within the Digital Directorate at Hanscom AFB. What you will do Provide logistics/sustainment capabilities across all aspects of the AWACS program with emphasis on providing technical logistics/sustainment support to senior leadership. Evaluate and develop logistics sustainment solutions to ensure terminal and terrestrial communications Operational Availability requirements are maintained. Provide logistics and sustainment inputs to acquisition documents such as Statements of Objectives, Requests for Proposals, Engineering Change Proposals, Program Management Plans, ILSPs, SOWs, PWSs, Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), CDRLs, SEPs, LCMPs, Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Orders, FCA/PCA documents, and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR). Direct/active participation and leadership as appropriate in logistics/sustainment technical discussions/meetings both internally and externally to the program office. Provide support to government analyses, development of options, analysis of each option, and recommended solutions with in depth technical justification and background. Provide technical support to the Mission Planning technical oversight of the Prime contractor's logistics support performance. What you need to have Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance BA/BS degree with 2+ years of experience, or; Advanced Degree (MA/MS) with some professional experience, or; 8+ years of professional experience, with no degree The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of FMS system acquisition and program management, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the FMS community, including SAF/IA, AFSAC, DSCA, AFLCMC/WFNFM, Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO); Tri-Service Committee (TSC), etc. Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team Proficient Microsoft office skills Ability to lead a project team in completing complex projects Experience in developing a product support strategy for a major weapons systems a plus. Ability to respect and work with customer country customs, etiquette and business practices. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
