Budget Manager

About the role:

The Business Enablement office within Takeda is looking for Budget Manager who will Deliver support and analysis for Budget Cycle (MRP, MYC, LBE) across program, project, and run operations for GDD&T assigned functions in coordination with DD&T Finance Business Partners. Join Takeda as a Budget Manager where you will manage rolling forecast for assigned service owners and stakeholders through reviews to identify risks and opportunities. As part of this Business Enablement Office, you will report to the Head of GDT Budget Management Lead.

How you will contribute:

• Perform validation of PO spend affordability and financial coding.

• Support GDD&T Service owners processing of cost distribution tool.

• Point of contact for GDD&T service owners to ensure clear understanding and alignment to all TBS finance processes. Support service owners with continuous training and be a ready source of information

• Manage accrual and reclass processes by monitoring invoices and monthly accruals to maintain >95% DAS Services accrual review.

• Support DD&T Finance process and tool evolution to continually improve business and financial operations

• Develop in-depth understanding of Takeda financial and reporting systems and support adherence to timelines and policies (GAAP & internal to Takeda)

• Advanced Excel skills (ability to handle/trace complex excel formulas) are required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – PowerPoint, Word

• Preferred experience with Ariba PO Process, Apptio, SAP General Ledger, and BREP

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or High School degree with 10 years of equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• Fluent in writing and speaking in the English language.

• Excellent oral and written communications skills, business acumen with analytical and problem solving skills.

• Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.

• Ability to prepare and execute business meetings virtual, face-to-face, cross functional, local or global to ensure meeting required deliverables.

• Apptio experience desired
